No space for insecurity :D

I was bored and tired last week so I went to have coffee from outside that afternoon. To my relief, there were only a couple of school-going kids in front of me. When I reached the counter, the barista gave me a smile so genuine that I instantly smiled back. For the next two to three minutes we just had a good conversation over nothing specific as I was the last one in the line. I had my coffee, smiled back to her before leaving and I felt good. That meeting was the highlight of my day. Her!
I valued her for being nice. And when I want to judge my value, what do I do? I take out my to-do list and see how much I've completed to how much I was supposed to. Or maybe by how much I've not achieved this month. Or how much of my new year resolutions I was not able stick to. Fair? There's no balance but that's how it truly is!
And as I see for most of us, our own self is our biggest critic. And that's not always bad because deep inside, we are all ambitious little kids who want to see how far we can go before life kicks us out xD. But I believe the issue arises when we link our value directly to any one or two parameters in specific. That's when it's time to sit back, relax and remind yourself that you're more than that.
Gifting ourselves The Liberty to Fail

The belief that we're more than our setbacks gives us the liberty to fail.
When you give yourself the liberty to fail, you automatically give yourself more chances to win! Because then you're not afraid of trying and I believe that's how true winners are made.
Like they say, fall seven times and then get up on the eighth!
Shutting down the villain in us
The biggest sign of weakness in my opinion is when someone tries to inflict their insecurity on others. They try to bring others down but they're not understanding that it is them who need help. We can't blame them too because they're so full of insecurity that it's sad! When we know that we are enough and more, we easily silence this villain inside of us. Because then we realize that we are all not just in other lanes but we're in completely different races altogether.
To all the
"You're not pretty enough",
"You're not intelligent enough",
"Your forehead is huge",
"Your smile is weird" ,
coming from inside and outside of us, it is all relative. There will always be someone conventionally more beautiful or smarter than you or me but that also, is subject to perception. And it does not mean that you're not enough.
Like I love how cute the monster picture at the beginning looks. That's the only reason I have put it up there. It looks curious, confident and ready to take a leap. Full of main character energy, it looks like it knows it is enough and more xD. I'm taking this tip from the monster and if you like it too before going to sleep tonight, tell yourself "I am more" because you most definitely are! 😊🥂
